I think this song is about the life spirit…. Tommy and Gina fight to gain the bad of life. No matter how hard it is, they always keep their mind for love. They realize that they are in a half way (from life and death)… then they want to enjoy their life… without any suffers.

Furthermore, the song is about prayers…. They do their duty to pray. Maybe, livin on the surrounding of prayers will make me easy to do my life, but it is not a guarantee…  WhadboutU?
